Businesses use Smedule's administrative tool to manage their appointment book and then they choose make their openings viewable by Smedule users. When lots of businesses sign up for Smedule and "open up" their appointment books, you are then able to browse all of their combined openings to find the one that best meets your needs.
There are two types of accounts for which you can register:
End User Account
If you simply want to search businesses and book services through Smedule, you don't need to register for an account.
You only need to register if you want to make an appointment. To sign up for an account, go to [ sign up page ]
Business User Account
If you would like to use Smedule to manage your business calendar, you will need to create a business account [ on this sign up page ] to get started.
In short, we won't share your personal data with anyone for any purpose other than appointment confirmation. The only exception to this would be if you "opt in" to receive emails about special promotions. See our privacy statement for all of the details on our privacy policies: [ Privacy Policy ]

No, you will never have to pay in advance to make an appointment.
No, you will not be required to leave a credit card to make an appointment. In the future this policy could change for specialized types of service.
There is a 24-hour courtesy cancellation policy, so we encourage you to cancel your appointments more than 24 hours in advance.
Go to MySmedule, view "My upcoming appointments", and select the "cancel" option. Hit confirm and then your appointment will be canceled.
Because our partner business all have different cancellation policies, if you need to cancel an appointment within the 24 hour cancellation blackout period, call the business directly.
The business contact information is in the confirmation email that you received right after you originally scheduled your appointment. You can also go to MySmedule, on the upper right-hand corner of your page, view "My upcoming appointments". In the list of upcoming appointments, if you click on the business name, you will be able to view its phone number.
If you forget to show up for an appointment or do not follow our cancellation policy, then it will be considered a "no-show".
You can no-show up to three times in a one-year period. If you reach the limit within one year, then your Smedule account will be suspended.
Go to MySmedule, in the upper right hand corner of the page, view "My upcoming appointments", and select the "edit" option. Then make your change, hit "confirm" and your appointment will be updated.
Go to MySmedule. From there, you can either view upcoming appointments by viewing, "My Upcoming Appointments", or past appointments not surprisingly, in, "Past Appointments"
Our ratings come from a non-biased third party rating system, http://Yelp.com.
There are two reasons why we don't take our users' content. One, we understand that many of you are currently contributing review content to other sites, so we don't want to create another silo of review content. Secondly, we want to leverage as much existing unbiased review content as we can.
You can make a service reservation up to six months in advance.
Many businesses will discount their services in order to fill unused spots. Your best chance of getting a discount, therefore is for last-minute reservations often the day when you want the service.
When you execute a search, make sure you select the "with customer review content" option. If you do not select this option, all businesses will be included in your result set.
You're in luck, we are running a promotion right now. When your business signs up, make sure they include your email in the registration process. Once we see that end users have started scheduling their services with your business, we will then notify you by email, request your address, then send you a check for $10.00.
There will be times when businesses have to cancel an appointment that you made through Smedule. They will make every effort to reschedule your appointment. Send us a note if you are unhappy with a businesses conduct at support@smedule.com. If we receive more than three complaints, we will remove that business from the system.
No formal studies have conclusively found that Smedule makes its users smarter. It does, however, make them appear smarter in front of their colleagues and friends.
Independently run third-party studies have found that Smedule will in fact make you cooler. You might suddenly find yourself saying Shizzle fo Rizzle and using other such vernacular. And if you think it makes you cooler now, you just wait and see what we have in store with future releases!
